For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with fashion, hair, and makeup and have used my personal style as a creative way to express myself. I believe that personal styling is a powerful self-love tool. It can affect how we feel about ourselves and therefore how we treat ourselves.
So many of us live such fast-paced lives that we can forget to take time out to focus on what makes us feel good, and what makes us so special. By working on how we present ourselves externally, we can inspire other important life changes.
My career in personal styling began with my own transformation. Originally from Canada, I worked in administration in the corporate world for 20-plus years. After changing my lifestyle, image and outlook, I decided it was time to pursue my true passion.

I trained as a certified image consultant in 2007 and developed a career helping others to embody their personal authenticity. My first personal styling business in Toronto, Canada saw me working with clients from all parts of the world, contributing to my love of travel and international culture and fashion.
In 2011, I made the move to Christchurch, New Zealand and worked in corporate roles for several years, while keeping my passion for fashion and style burning on the side. In 2018, I established Studio Bibi with the aim of helping people to discover and embrace their unique personal style |
I'm grateful to have the opportunity to work with clients of all backgrounds who are experiencing significant life changes, whether it's adjusting to a new job, reaching personal milestones, becoming a parent, or dealing with fluctuations in health or weight.
My intention is to guide you towards being your best self right now, no matter the circumstances, and to empower you to embrace and work with your unique self and body.
Your personal style should first and foremost reflect who you are, fit with your lifestyle and make you feel fabulous about yourself. I have a keen eye for colours, shapes and detail and while I keep informed of current trends, I don’t feel we need to stick to them. It’s okay to colour outside the lines!

On a more personal note...
- I was born in Canada with a Hungarian background. (My gran and I were very close, and I was "encouraged" to go to Hungarian school every weekend, so I speak the language fluently. I'm grateful for it now.)
- Growing up with my father working for the airlines, I became a travel enthusiast at a very young age. I love to explore and learn about different cultures.
- In 2021, my husband and I sold our home, to go on an epic 18-month adventure in our motorhome to savour every moment together in this gorgeous country. During this time, Mad Nomad (my sustainable, made-to-order clothing brand for sizes 14-24) was born, inspired by mid-life changes and the unpredictability and boldness of life on the road.
- As an empath and introvert, I value my quiet time to stay centred, but I also enjoy socialising and having a good laugh. My favourite feel-good shows at the moment are Ted Lasso, Shrinking, and Hacks!
- I've been wearing wigs since I started losing hair for medical reasons in 2012. (I have about 15 of them that I rotate through, and they each have a name!)
- I have been eating a plant-based diet for 13 years and love creating new recipes while listening to chillout tunes in the kitchen.
- Speaking of music, I love all kinds! I'm what they might call a genre fluid "bedroom DJ" who enjoys mixing tracks for their own pleasure. I have a soft spot for the 80s, House, Disco and Electronic rhythms.
